The Global Youth Priorities project was held under the auspices of the Jordanian Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Development and Euro-Med Youth Unite (EMYU).
The project, which constituted the third phase of an on-going initiative, was held over the week of April 8th — 14th, 2015, in Madaba, Jordan. Previous phases were held in Spain in 2014 and in Florence, Italy in 2015.
The GYP project comprised a five-day training session with 27 young participants from 6 European and non-European counties: Jordan, Italy, Spain, Estonia, Greece, and Egypt. The focus was on Euro-Mediterranean exchange and addressing current refugee issues faced by Euro-Med youth.
The objective of the GYP project was working towards deepening human-rights knowledge through non-formal education techniques, with a special emphasis on the following aspects:
